Revalue Technologies

About Us
Revalue Technologies was formed to utilise and promote project management knowledge and experience gathered during the past 30+ years. Whilst initially specialising in development and management of high-tech plastics recycling projects, such as PET bottles and the manufacture of plant pots from recovered Polypropylene film, fibres and ropes, significant time has been spent to develop commercially viable processes to deal with mixed plastics packaging waste from household, industrial and commercial sources.

Mixed plastics recycling technology has been around since the early 1980’s, but has not gained widespread acceptance, due mainly to the cost of the resulting finished products compared to those they replace. In many instances products in the form of fencing, bollards and decking have been found to be superior in physical and environmental performance to their wood counterparts, but the premium price has put many buyers off.

Realisation that poor output performance was the key factor governing the end cost of these products gave rise to our own development, whereby high output was achieved at the same time as maintaining the same investment cost. The result, which took 4 years to achieve was dramatic and has allowed us to think laterally in terms of end products.

We are now planning to build the first operational plant in the U.K., which will take all types of plastics packaging waste and convert this into kerbstones, as a lightweight, but more durable replacement for concrete. Plant capacity of 10,000 tonnes will enable up to 1.25 million kerbs to be manufactured outstripping both the physical & environmental performance of their concrete counterpart and at the same time be cost competitive.
