E-Kerbs:

The effective replacement for concrete kerbstones traditionally used by the construction and civil engineering industries.

Why?
  • Cost competitive
  • Virtually unbreakable
  • Massive 65% saving in weight
  • Operator friendly -safe and easily cut
  • Superior physical and environmental performance
  • Ongoing macro-scale supply of waste
  • Visual end use for all to see
  • Fully recyclable
  • 3 to 4 times service life
  • More than 99% reduction in carbon emissions
Having been extensively field-tested during the past 2 years by one of the major construction groups in the U.K. plans are now in hand to roll out use nationally as soon as the product is commercially available.

Our fully automated recycling technology enables throughputs from 1 – 4 tonnes per hour of finished product, i.e. 6000 – 24,000 tonnes per annum from a single plant. The mixed plastics packaging fraction of household waste is ideal as feedstock for this process without sorting and allows, carrier bags, cling film, margarine tubs, yoghurt pots, meat trays, egg cartons to be recycled. In other words all the plastics that most people think cannot be recycled. The recycling process is robust enough to accept up to 10% contamination in the form of aluminium foil, paper labels and general dirt!

100% plastics waste in – 100% product out (no waste, no NIMBY syndrome, no emissions to air, land or water).

Plans are in hand to build recycling plants in or near major towns and cities throughout the U.K. We will work with local authorities, waste management companies and government to ensure that sufficient satellite plants are built to significantly deal with plastics waste on a long term basis.

Capped Cable Ducting:

These have traditionally been made from concrete and are used widely by Network rail and more recently for the electrified signage on motorways.

Problems exist when the concrete variety cracks allowing ingress of water, rodents and other contamination. By using products made from mixed plastics waste most of these problems can be avoided, while at the same time offering more rapid laying, manual handling as opposed to use of expensive pick and place machinery.

Reinforced Products for the Construction Industry:

The addition of ASR and/or tyre crumb enables specific physical qualities to be achieved. Further R & D will be carried out to meet customer demands as a natural continuance of the development work undertaken by ourselves.

Appropriate laboratory and field testing will be completed to gain certification by recognised test houses prior to introduction of any specific product.
